Just a reminder to watch my Colts take down the Saints in the Super Bowl! Wear your blue and white and gear up for a great game! Can't wait! Yahoo!

Jazz vs Suns

We went to the Utah Jazz vs the Phoenix Suns game on Jan. 25 with our good friends Brad and Vanese and their son Tosh. We had so much fun! Unfortunately for Trevor, the Suns lost in the end. But the game was very EXCITING!

I can't figure out why Emily isn't smiling in this picture. It may be cuz her daddy wouldn't buy her a giant Jazz Bear stuffed animal. Austin got his hat signed by the majority of the Jazz team. Trevor tried for Steve Nash's autograph, but settled for Grant Hill when Nash snubbed the fans. Oh well...there is always next season!

Tip Off!

We had such a great time. Thanks Brad and Vanese!

In Loving Memory of Yvonne Larsen Steele Jason's sweet Grandma Steele passed away on Jan. 17, 2010. She had been sick for quite a while, but it was still a bit of a shock when we got the news that Sunday morning. She was a beautiful and classy lady and we will miss her dearly. The funeral was one of the most peaceful ones I have ever been to. The Spirit was so strong that even my young children could not hold back their emotions. We all sobbed during the program. I am just so thankful for the Atonement and the knowledge that someday we will all be together again and live forever as a family.

The pallbearers waiting to carry Grandma's casket.

My two young men Austin and Trevor were very happy and proud that they were asked to be pallbearers and did a fantastic job. Aren't they handsome?

Jason was also a pallbearer, but this was the only shot I could get of him. He is in the black coat on the right side in front of Uncle Greg who is in the red and black coat.

My sweet parents came to the funeral and dedication to support Jason and his family. I love you mom and dad!

All of the great grandchildren had a flower to place on Grandma Steele's casket.

Kylie had just placed her flower. I wasn't quick enough to capture it.

Glad it wasn't me....although it would have been a good upper body workout!

I actually found some Christmas Eve pictures that I had taken at Jason's grandma's house.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! The holidays were so much fun for our family! Unfortunately I was so busy and having too much fun to take pictures. I have some video but no still shots. I don't know what I was thinking...oh well.

Christmas Eve we spent at Jason's grandmother's house with Jason's parents and grandma. We made the traditional Christmas Eve dinner with ham, potatos, the infamous green bean casserole (my first attempt!), hot rolls and of course pretzel salad! It was a wonderful day and evening. We ate and ate, and then burned off our calories by playing the wii fit plus. That was our family Christmas gift this year, and it was a hit! Even Jason's dad had to try out the golf game on it. By the way Brent, you still hold the record! The kids got to open their Christmas jammies and wear them home that night. Thanks mom and dad for a memorable night!

Christmas morning was wonderful as well. Of course Santa found us and once again spoiled my kids! We actually slept a little bit longer this year and didn't get up until around 8am. We opened gifts and around 11am, my parents came and brought my sisters from Yuma with them. My sisters flew in that morning and we were their first stop on their way to moms. My Aunt Bonnie was also with them and we had a great visit in spite of all the chaos! Leslie and Minda stayed the week at my mom's so we of course had to travel everyday to see them. What a fun week we had! Thanks girls for all the laughs and of course the watch bands!

New Years Eve we stayed home and had Leslie and Minda come as well as Kristin and her family. We played wii fit and farkle, and of course ate! Thanks for all the help and fun you guys!

As the New Year is just getting started, I hope you all make the year 2010 the best one ever for you and your family.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
