Spring Break 2010

We took a spontaneous trip to Yuma for spring break in April. Of course on the way there we had to stop for a couple of hours in Cedar City, and catch up with our good friends, the Burton family!

Emily, Chelsi, and Kylie playing with the cat. They are growing up too fast!

Swimming was one of the top priorities on our to do list once we reached Yuma. Even Kylie couldn't resist the water this year!

Emily was a fish in the water the whole time we were there.

Jason loves his Diamondbacks!

Sweet Tally. We all love this dog!

Austin being silly in the pool.

Me and my sweet girls! Oh Emily! What are we going to do with you?!

Minda and Emily.

Trevor and Emily. Wow they really can get along!

Dance Dance Dance!!!

This was Emily's 3rd year to dance. She did such a good job at the recital they had in Ogden at the Browning Fine Arts Center at Weber State. Grandma Hobbs's favorite dance was the "Kitty Cat Pounce".

Emily also wore a raincoat and boots over her tap shoes, and tapped to "If All the Raindrops were Lemon drops and Gumdrops". You did such and amazing job Emily! I was so proud of you!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Hobbs!

May 15th was my dad's birthday, and my two sisters in Arizona made a surprise visit and shocked both of my parents! They didn't let them know they were coming, so when mom and dad came home from the temple....there was the two Yuma girls sitting in their living room! That right there made my dad's birthday extra happy.

Jason, Trevor, and Don took dad golfing to the Logan River Golf Course on his birthday. Dad was off to a great start when he got a birthday birdie on the first hole!

Beautiful weather!

Enjoying the semi warm weather outside at Grandpa's. We had a hotdog roast and picnic in the backyard for Grandpa's birthday. Of course the smores were the biggest hit!

It was so much fun having Leslie and Melinda surprise everyone, and be here for Dad's birthday!

Present time... Present time... Open a present and see what's inside!

"Ooohhh!" Kristin knows how much Dad likes golf shirts.

Happy Birthday Dad! What a fantastic weekend we all had!

Happy Birthday Leslie!

My sister Melinda asked me if she could host a surprise birthday party for Leslie at my house while they were here. Of course I said yes! We decided on a Mardi Gras theme for the fun decorations and bright colors. It turned out being a huge surprise!

Leslie's chocolate on chocolate birthday cake.

Leslie's arrival..... Surprise!!!

The whole family came to the party. Leslie was so happy and surprised.

Make a wish and blow out the candles, Leslie! We love you!

Some of the fun Mardi Gras decorations Jason and I found to decorate the house for Leslie's party. We had so much fun!

Leslie the "Twilight-holic", received the New Moon board game for her birthday. Happy Birthday Leslie! Thanks for spending it with us!
