Play Golf!

It was so much fun to go and watch several of Trevor's golf tournaments this season. These are some pix from 2 of his tournaments here at the Eagle Mtn. Golf Course. We didn't want to distract the golfers, so some of the pix are a little faraway.

Trevor made Varsity all but one tournament this year. Not too shabby for being a sophmore!

I had to get this shot of the three golf bags together. Box Elder, Mtn Crest, and Sky View.

Waiting on the 18th hole. I thought it was cool that they all 3 sat together and chatted while they waited for the group ahead of them. Trevor met some way cool guys from different schools, and really had a fun time this year. Can't wait for next year, Trevor!

The Roof Came Tumbling Down!

Mom and Dad's roof on their house has needed to be redone for a little while now, so on Aug 7th we all showed up ready to help take off the old roof. The morning started off overcast, but the sun decided to shine through a little later to make it hot and miserable on top of the house. All of the guys were on top scraping, Bryan drove the bobcat, and the girls picked up shingles, nails, and what other debris fell from the roof.
Austin was probably the only guy on the roof that actually enjoyed it! I wasn't at all surprised.

These guys worked so hard all day long! It was so much harder than it looks, and harder than I thought it would be. Mom and Dad really appreciated all the support and hard work that everyone gave them.
New roof! My cousin Blair and his son came and put on the new roof a few days later.

The house looks great and is all ready for the winter months ahead.

Yuma Summer Vacation 2010

I am a bit behind on my blog, so little by little here come the updates. In July we ventured down south to enjoy some summer sun, since Utah had been lacking at the time. For the first week we all stayed there, then Jason and the boys had to leave cuz of work, scout camp, and lack of room in Grandma's car. The little girls and I stayed for 2 weeks longer to keep Lez company while Minda was in Minnesota with mom and dad. Our family had a ball and were well taken care of! Swimming is always a priority when we are in Arizona!
Gotta love In-N-Out Burger! By the way, that is Jason's burger, not mine! Lol!

Chuckie Cheese is what my girls always choose to do while we are there. So fun!

Pretty Kylie on her horse! Well that is what she wishes!

Emily won Deal or No Deal this year! She was so excited, that you would have thought she won actual money not just tickets! Another successful Chuckie Cheese night!

This would become a very common thing to see after Emily would come in from swimming. She would be cold, cover herself up in this comfy-snuggly blankey, fall asleep......

....and Brensen or Tally would join her! So funny!

My two little girls that loved to dress like twins the whole time we were in Az.

Sad faces on our last day in Yuma! I was just as sad!

Turning 40 in the hot Arizona sun!

Our family was in Yuma, Arizona visiting my sisters Lez and Minda, when Jason turned the big 40. So we decided to throw him a surprise pool party in my sister's backyard. It was so fun and quite humorous to plan and execute a surprise party with him there! I think Lez was the most stressed about it, and thats what the most laughs were about! She was a cutie though and went and bought the decorations while she was supposedly working. Here is Kylie and Emily standing by the tiki table. They loved the grass skirts my sister bought!
Tiki table with all the goods. After present time was over, we had a wonderful poolside bbq.

The birthday boy showing off his golf shirt we got for him from Desert Hills, his favorite golf course in Yuma.

Night time swimming is the best! Loved the tiki torches along the outside of the pool! We had sooo much fun that night!

Happy 40th birthday Jason! We love you so much and hope we made your day special!

Kimberly-Clark day

In June, Kimberly-Clark had their 25th Year Anniversary Party. All the employees and their families were invited to come and tour the Ogden Plant. My girls were unable to go on the last tour because they were not old enough. But this year they could, and they were pretty excited to see inside the huge building where their daddy works. Before we could go on the tour, we had to get all dressed up so we would be safe. I thought the girls would totally fight putting on all the gear, but they were very eager to put everything on...even the ear plugs!

I loved how we all looked like oompa loompas! Emily didn't think that was so funny though! Her face says it all! I love you my girls!

Along with free dinner and live music, Kimberly-Clark had lots of fun stuff going on outside the plant for the whole family to enjoy. Austin was excited to try out the huge rock wall.
Way to go Austin! You made it to the top!

Emily dancing with Cojo the Clown. If he looks familiar, its because he entertained at Emily and Kylie's birthday party a couple of years ago. He remembered Emily and totally cracked us up!
The girls were very excited to get their faces painted. Surprised that my sweet, dainty, teeny tiny chose to be painted like a puppy? Yeah, me neither! Lol! And yes that is Grandma in the background! We were so happy she came with us that day!

Kylie looked so pretty as a butterfly! We all had such a great time at the anniversary party!

Zeus the Almighty Ringo Daugherty

So here he is, the newest member of our family! We had so many different names that we thought of, but Zeus just fit his personality. He is a Yorkshire Terrier, and we just love him! We have had him now for about 2 months, and he has grown and changed so much! This picture was taken just a couple of days ago....do you like his warm little hoodie!
This picture was taken not long after we brought him home. Gotta love the floppy ears that would not stand up!
Cute picture of Zeus napping with the girls. He was still really new.
This picture was taken the morning after we brought him home. This shows just how tiny he once was! Emmy loved to push him in her stroller. She has always wanted to have a puppy to stroll around! Right Lez and Minda?
The day we brought Zeus home was a total surprise for the kids. They had no idea we were even considering a puppy for them. It all happened so fast, but the moment we took him inside and the kids saw him....their faces were PRICELESS!!! Lets just say that Emily asked if he was a real puppy, Austin was permagrin, Kylie started to hyperventalate and almost passed out with excitement, and Trevor immediately texted everyone in his contact list to let them know about Zeus! It was quite the evening at the Daugherty household. Things have quieted down since then, but our love for Zeus has doubled since that first night. He is a keeper!
